The garage in this project was closed in to create extra living spaces to the house.The garage was transformed into a new open living space, new bedroom and bathroom to create more living space and hence the value of the property.
WORKER'S COTTAGE RENOVATION
This project involved the renovation and alteration of a 1910 worker's cottage with reconfigaration of rooms and interior spaces. The aim of the project was to bring back the old allure of the property, maintaining the so characteristic Australian cottage look, all while strenghting its building integrity and modernising its living spaces to suit family live. The design of the project was managed by Brisbane Interior Solution.
New layout through out the cottage, reducing the number of bedrooms from six to three, adding a new lounge area and a study. New ensuite, bringing the total bathrooms to two in the building. New kitchen , dinning area, butler's pantry and laundry. Original design details were kept to retained its original flair.
The old worker's cottage was brought back to life and up to today's standards.
